Algae
Algae is used in aquaculture as food and live feed for molluscs, abalone, crustaceans, some fish species and zooplankton. Algae is also used in the health industry as ingredients for supplements due to its important compounds such as βcarotene, astaxanthin, polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA).
